Scientific interests
Dr. Jelena Pajnik's research focuses on sustainable separation, material processing, and functionalization techniques using supercritical CO₂, including:
1. extraction from plant materials,
2. production of aerogels,
3. impregnation of natural and synthetic polymers with bioactive substances.
These methods aim to drive sustainable and efficient advancements in biomaterials, enhancing eco-friendly technologies for applications ranging from medical devices to environmental solutions.
