AgMIP-Wheat: A Decade of Pioneering Climate Research

A new Nature News & Views piece by Leslie Lipper, titled "From yield impacts to just transformation of food systems", reflects on how agricultural research has evolved since the seminal study "Rising temperatures reduce global wheat production" published in Nature Climate Change (2015), led by Senthold Asseng. The article highlights how the AgMIP-Wheat Team laid the foundation for over a decade of research on climate and food production. AgMIP continues to improve agricultural and food system models to strengthen the evidence base and support real-world decision-making.
