Malte von Bloh Successfully Defends PhD on Machine Learning for Crop Yield Prediction

We congratulate our PhD student Malte von Bloh on the successful defence of his doctoral thesis, "Machine Learning for Crop Yield Prediction: Methods and Data for Model Robustness, Validation and In-Season Inference", on 18 June 2026. As one of the first doctoral candidates of the Chair, Malte has made outstanding contributions to our research, including initiating the Field Fusion and Smart Field Project.
