Maximilian Zachow Successfully Defends PhD Dissertation on Data-Driven Wheat Yield Forecasting

We are pleased to announce that our doctoral researcher, Maximilian Zachow, successfully defended his PhD dissertation on 30 Juni 2026. His dissertation, entitled “Improving Data-Driven Wheat Yield Forecasting Using Seasonal and Subseasonal Climate Models,” was completed under the supervision of Prof. Asseng and Prof. Harald Kunstmann from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Prof. Stefan Sieber of Georg-August University of Göttingen served as the third examiner.
