FieldFusion Project Visit to Brazil

As part of the initial phase of the FieldFusion project, our doctoral researchers Malte von Bloh and Cameron Simoleit travelled to Brazil from 8 to 20 February 2026 to establish, coordinate, and strengthen international collaborations.
During their stay, several meetings were held at the College of Agriculture of the University of São Paulo with Prof. Fábio R. Marin, where von Bloh presented both the Smartfield and FieldFusion projects.
Subsequent engagements took place at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA) in Sinop, fostering closer cooperation with local research teams.
In addition, visits to soyben farms in the surrounding region offered valuable insights into local agricultural systems and practices.
