The Chair of Digital Agriculture was present at the Farmvison Festival on 6 May 2023 at the Weihenstephan campus. Visitors were able to learn more about and better understand the techniques of wheat vertical farming and the impact of this innovative method on food production in the future. At the festival, organised by the Hans Heisenmann Forum for Agricultural Sciences under the direction of Prof. Asseng, many research groups from the campus were represented with their own stands and demonstrated the state-of-the-art techniques of "agriculture of the future" to the spectators.
