In-situ Measurement and Image Analysis

The aim is to observe process engineering processes in-situ with the aid of suitable experimental setups. State-of-the-art measurement techniques such as X-ray and neutron imaging are used. With the help of these measurement techniques, it is possible to gain an improved process understanding for complex (bio-)chemical processes, as well as to better understand the relationship between process and microstructure. This enables the development of improved processes and more accurate models as a prerequisite for a digital twin.
