Career
After graduating from University of Trieste in the Department of Environmental Engineer with a Thesis about the “Study of the Particle dispersion in a stratified Ekman Flow” she obtained a doctorate in fluid-mechanics, where she acquired strong expertise in atmospheric turbulent fluid-dynamics, actively developing an in-house 3D parallel large-eddy simulation code applying it for the first time to a real case study of pollutant dispersion in an urban area.
She has also several years of working experience at the river group in the regional agency for environmental Protection ARPA-FVG in Italy, where she gained a strong expertise in river modeling, environmental data assimilation and statistical analysis.
She is now involved in the plant growth numerical model implementation and application as well as in the crop data analysis.
